A very unusual Junghans WW1 era alarm pocket watch,I have described it as a sentry's watch because I have seen other examples listed the same, but I am no expert this is information from the net. it does ring when wound and hands are advanced although alarm hand is approximately 1 hour out, the case is in excellent order the hinged back also forms the stand, and stands nicely ( picture 2 ) it has the Junghans logo on the lid and movement, the case is chromed or silver plated, the dial has luminous paint. There is a winder and 1 hand setting button and 1 alarm setting, this button reverses the alarm hand in 15 min segments, the inside has an alarm on/off switch and fast-slow setting. This watch ticks for a while then stops it may need a service, clean, and second hand fitting alarm hand resetting would suit an enthusiast so spares or repair please see my other interesting items.
