This is a museum-quality handmade reproduction of a black leather German infantry K98 bayonet frog. This style black leather frog was used by the German army from 1898-WW2. The infantry model does not have a securing strap at the top, which can be found on cavalry models. It is made of heavy duty black latigo leather by historian/collector Jay C. Richards.
