Hi, This auction is for a beautiful scarce WW1 German Trench Art letter opener made from a Grenade Shell Splinter. It has a solid EK Iron Cross with a W in the center and dated on the lower cross arm 1915. A solid strong & weighty all metal piece that has no damage and just age related wear. Also included in this lot is three Original WW1 German photos, two of them dated 1915, the larger is a photo postcard dated 1916. They come from the same lot purchased with the opener and so it seems right to include them in the lot. A lovely original rare collection. Dimensions of the opener are 30 x 245mm.
