A very rare World War 1 GOLD & SILVER naval sweetheart brooch for HMS TIGER . Hallmarked for Birmingham and bearing the maker's mark of Frank Mannox. In superb condition with NO damage or repair whatsoever - clasp, pin & anchor rope all in fine condition. HMS Tiger was a Royal Navy battle-cruiser built by John Brown of Clydebank, launched in 1913 & was the most heavily armoured battle-cruiser at the start of WW1. She participated in the Battle of Dogger Bank, Jutland & Heligoland Bight. She was scrapped after the war in 1932. The brooch measures just over 1.5 inches. A nice scarce item for the WW1 miltaria collector. See other interesting antique items I am listing all fresh to the market.
