An outstanding Imperial German Photo/Postcard size 3.5 inches by 5.1 inches 100% original,photo shows a battle scared German front line trench dug just behind a destroyed house which has been devastated by shell fire.Trench is occupied by groups of German Soldiers,NCO's and Officers carrying out various trench duties,the 1st group appear to be constructing wood revettments to the trench walls,whilst further down the trench around the next traverse a soldier is seen sniping through a loop hole being watched by an Officer while another soldier looks into No-mans land.A truly fantastic crystal clear front-line shot showing life in the German Trenches,photo is in excellent condition and shows no damage at all,a must for the Imperial German Collector and general great war Enthusiast and Historian....
