Ipurchased a box of WW1 marked Military Uniform with some WWI WW1 ORIGINAL DOUGHBOY type items. I did not do this for collectible reasons. I did it because I am an artist and I wanted to use them in art work, however when I started to look at bits and pieces of this uniform I was somewhat taken back and struck that I might be doing an injustice to the era. The realization that WW1 was a remarkable time in our and the world history. Before I use these items in art work someone may have a better use. For example these Kaki Leggings . They were WW1 issued to O.E. Hennig of St. Louis MO. These are authentic World War One US issued Kaki Leggings. They appear to be somewhat worn, soiled but in great shape as you can see by pictures. Numbers inside appear to be..a large 2 1 _ _ 0 on both legs. It appears that when he came home he did not clean up uniform just put it away, out of site, out of mind. To frame or mound it in a case it could be a sought after piece of WW1 antique memorabilia. It is being sold in “as is” condition.
