A sublime,rare old 'Machine Gun Corps',Officers swagger stick,or cane. The stick is dated between 1915,and 1922,this is the period in which the Corps was founded,and surv ived!? The cane is approximately 27 1/2" in leng th. It has a beautiful ,tapered,and banded domed top in silver coloured metal. The raised emblem on this is clearly seen,with crossed machine guns,the crown,and the words 'Machine Gun Corps'. The stick has it's original metal ferrule at it's base. The swagger stick has a 'Bendy' stained wood main body. Please view ALL photographs attached,for a full,and detailed view of the item!The p ictures really don't do the stick any justice, it looks stunning in the 'flesh',and is extremely tactile!! A nice vintage item, possibly something for the collector!? Please remember,used,& old,so not a new item by any means ,as such will carry old scars,& war wounds,from usage,& passage through time etc...!?(No pun intended!).
