WW1 Medal Group – Pte F. Brewer – 7th London Regt & Royal Flying Corps – Severely Wounded, Battle of Menin Road Ridge - Unworn Condition & Boxed Genuine W.W.I. British War Medal & Victory Medal group awarded to Private Frederick Thomas Brewer who served on the Western Front with the 2/7th Battalion London Regiment and was severely wounded (gun shot wounds to chest and neck) during the Battle of Menin Road Ridge, between 20th-22nd September 1917. Once recovered he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps / Royal Air Force. The group comes with their original box of issue and a cd-rom containing copies of relevant paperwork (confirming his entitlement to these medals).The medal rims are both officially stamped with the recipient’s service number and details, “351456 PTE. F. T. BREWER. 7-LONDON R.”. Both medals are in excellent unworn condition, have never been fitted to their ribbons, still come with their original brown paper envelopes, their box of issue bearing Private Brewer’s name and original Air Ministry postal envelope. The British War Medal is nicely toned. The medal group also comes with a cd-rom containing numerous pages of copied records relating to Brewer’s life and military service.
