A First World War Officer's Torch with Leather Case. The torch itself retains it's bulls eye lens and original bulb. The leather case has lost it's leather at the base and one strap is missing that would hold it to the Sam Browne belt. The lid is detached from the main body of the leather case. Even so, it displays well and the leather has a deep, rich patina. The original plate states "The Orilux J.H.Steward 406, Strand London". A bit battered but it is an original piece of history nearing 100 years old now. I shall send this registered post from Cyprus so please expect it in 5 days or so.
