For sale is a WWI US Remington 1913 Pattern Bayonet and Scabbard made in 10/1917. I purchased this bayonet from my neighbor, several years ago, who got it from his cousin. His cousin had tried to sharpen the blade (please refer to picture) and had painted the handle red. I sanded this paint off and retreated the wood. Overall the bayonet is in good shape and has the bomb burst stamp. The scabbard still has all it's original stitching and has few scratches.
