Ebay Compliance , please note that this 100 year old piece of brass has been heat treated to ensure that any trace residue is removed, it has then been cut away so to be altered in appearance, it has been cleaned, and all possible potential for it to be ever used as anything other than an interesting artefact from an important part of world history has been removed. It certainly can no longer be used for its previous purpose. Bidding is for this cut away British brass No83 timer fuze, used in battle almost one hundred years ago, and recovered from the Somme at Montauban. This fuse is date stamped for May 1917.
