Springfield Model 1905 Bayonet and scabbard- Markings 1st side - US over 909152 followed by a small eagle over X12,other side S A over flaming bomb over 1918,----- T is a hole drilled in the top of the grip used for hanging i think,wood grips have a couple of old nicks and chips,t are a couple of hair line cracks in the wood but they are not loose-----lock mechanism works fine,----- blade measures 16 inch's appears to have been sharpened and most likely used?,-----overall seems like a solid original used but not abused bayonet,--- the scabbard looks original,no rips no markings the canvas cover slides off, appears to be wood wrapped with cloth tape
US shipping only,I prefer pay pal if using any type of check t will be a waiting period I am not a expert in the area of military weapons all the info i listed is from visual inspection or info gatd from other ebay listings,please ask questions i will try to answer best to the best of my ability I have not cleaned or tried to remove any signs of age they are as is Thanks I will be listing 4 different bayonets if winning more than one auction I will gladly combine shipping to help save a few bucks
