World War One United States Navy hay badge for Chief rank. Die struck in sterling silver and gold plated. 1 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/16 inches across in size. The "USN" is placed across the anchor. The fouling is made of twisted wire and added onto the hat badge. Pinback with a simple hook pin catch. A little salty, but as found.
