. Louvain There are a number of different themes to the designs which were woven by Neyret Freres (St. Etienne) in the early 1900s. Louvain (in black and white) is sometimes referred to as Louvain type 2 in the Flames series, but in fact it is not part of that series, but is part of Group 4, 1915 - 1917, WW1 Patriotic & Portraits by Radley's classification , and was published by Neyret F reres, not Deffrene. This example is in excellent condition with little or no signs of wear. The card is postally unused but with a message in ink on the back dated 3rd January 1918. See scans for details. I can combine shipping on multiple purchases at actual shipping cost, and can optionally send via registered mail for an additional fee. I am listing a few more woven silk postcards, so please remember to check out my other items ! .
