WW2 1942 ORIGINAL GERMAN STALINGRAD WINTER FUR HELMET DESCRIPTION: Offered to you is this original German WW2 Eastern Front Stalingrad leather winter fur helmet. Marked 1942. These were worn by regular soldier of the Wehrmacht during the cold winter months on the Eastern Front during the Stalingrad siege. These helmets were also issued to the onboard gunners of the Luftwaffe aircraft (tfore no headphone openings), these flight helmets are made of lambskin, to prevent the airmen from the severe cold of the Russian Eastern Front. Preserved in good condition for its age, missing buttons, moth damage to the fur on the inside (see photos). Size 55-57. Scarce and highly collectable item in great condition. German WWII items were destroyed at a great scale after the war by all participating countries. A couple of years ago we were able to completely buy out probably the only untouched military warehouse of leftover captured German WWII equipment including some precious Lazarett field hospital equipment and sets. Most of our items come in original, boxed and unused condition since the war. Most of the German military and medical items that we own and currently sell are among the only left of its kind in the world. Our stock is limited and like every good thing will soon come to an end, so take advantage of this opportunity to own authentic German WWII items.
