WW2 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters Oval Felt This auction is for one 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters Oval. Machine Embroidery on felt. It was removed, along with other insignia, from a group of badly rodent damaged uniforms named to James De Foggi 33679420. Final photo shows a scrap of uniform lining cloth with the name and serial number. This is not included. The recovered uniforms indicate prior service in the 17th Airborne Division and the Glider Infantry. Last assignment appears to have been as a First Sergeant with 82nd Division Headquarters. See my other auctions for additional insignia from this grouping. I have no additional information concerning this GI. Cut edge, does not react to uv light.
