For your consideration, "A PIECE OF HISTORY" The 303rd Bomb Group, also know as "Hell's Angels" was activated in 1942 (Pendleton Field, Oregon) and deactivated in 1945 (Casablanca, Morocco). These Great folks flew 364 combat missions, the most of any RAF B17 Group. They suffered 841 KIAs and 747 POWs. They were a vital part of the 8th US Air Corp, then a part of the Army. T were 2 Medal of Honor Winners. Items include: 8"x10" color photo of what appears to be a Group reunion or monument dedication in Molesworth, England. A beautiful 20"x30" all cotton wall hanging indicating types of aircraft and base locations in the UK. Perfect for framing. A 9 1/2" x 5 1/4" copy of a crew photo which appears to be signed by each. This is a copy not an original photo. 3 old barracks type hats covers which really show their age. A pair of old leather strap on eye protectors with functioning leather strap and a fur like material for protecting around the nose. A period 17" x 12" leather briefcase called an "Envelope, Leather, type III, Class B, Style 4, stock number 8.... It has a working zipper and 2 leather covered metal detractable carrying handles.
