I am listing these items, along with many other items for a collector friend of mine. And in his own words: This is a very hard to find grouping from one man named Dale A***** 502 101st Airborne. I met Mr. A**** many years ago (he passed away over 10 years ago). I met him through a very good friend of mine who was president of the national Purple Heart Chapter. He gave me Dales name to talk to as I was a ww2 collector (and still am). Dale was a very nice man, he spoke with me about his WW2 experiences and combat jumps etc. I wish I could remember it all, he saw a lot of combat and made several jumps. How many for combat I don't know, I can't remember the number but it was several. You will need to research him, I am sure you guys that do that will find all you need to know.I bought the following items from him, he had not much left as his grandson got his jackets and etc.I was to meet with him the next month or so and come back and get some photos but when I called I spoke to his wife and she informed me sadly that he had past away. She told me to stop by and I did and was kind enough to give me the photos and a copy of his discharge.I would now like to after all the years to have someone else enjoy it and do some research on him.
