World War II U.S. Army Airforce B-17 Aircraft type B-2 Ration Food Warmer used during the war for heating rations on bombing missions. I found information that these were also used on the B-24 and B-29 bombers. Includes everything you see in the photos. The warmer has a metal stamp on the left side which reads, Food Tray Galley, Model FTG-3-1, Designed by the Tappan Stove Co. Mansfield, Ohio, also another metal stamp below that says 27 volts. Cord included with side input. Stamp on right side bottom reads 115 volts, with plug input. Top compartment has salt and pepper shakers built into it. Bottom part of warmer has a latched door with two latches on left and right side of warmer with two compartments built into it. There is also a handle on each side of the warmer. There is another metal label on the right side that lists contents. 6 food trays, 12 beverage cups, 6 spoons, 24 drinking straws, 1 can spout, and 1 extension cord. The spoons, straws and can spout are not included. One of the cups is missing a lid. Cups and trays look to be stainless steel. Item is in average condition and will display well with your WW2 collectibles. This weighs about 31 pounds and measures about 17 1/2" tall, 17" wide and 11" deep. I do not know if it works as I am not able to test it. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS CLOSELY, WE DON'T WANT YOU TO GET SOMETHING YOU read more
