This lot consists of one 7.25"x9" leather Blood Chit, assumedly theatre made. The back is browned and the name J. Fields has been hand written in the lower left corner. The browned effect is most likely from adhesive which would further confirm its authenticity since they were typically glued on the jacket rather than stitched as the stitching puts holes through the leather. I am not an expert on CBI paraphenalia, but more of a collector as this patch was originally was purchased as a gift for my father who is a CBI veteran. He states that it appears to be authentic and is typical of the many variations used throughout China during this period. I had purchased this item for my father's 82th birthday and he greatly appreciated it BUT he preferred new... and printed on silk (he does not like used items). Which was quite an argument considering this is to go on a vintage A4 coat that will never leave the closet. Condition can be seen in scans below
