WW2 China Advisor Vietnam US Army Officer Mess Dress Uniform w/ Medals Insignia Named uniform set from an Officer that served as an Advisor to the Nationalist Chinese during WW2.1960s vintage. Good condition. It has slightly yellowed and there are a few spots, and it smells a bit musty from being in a footlocker for many years.The miniature medals are: Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and Army Commendation.The cuffs have the embroidery for a Colonel, and a set of Adjutant Generals Staff insignia. This is correct for pre 1975 uniforms. Adjutant Generals Staff insignia are clutch backed. One is missing one of its pins. They are marked "N.S. MEYER".The black trousers have a USAF stamp in them. He probably bought them at an Air Force base. The jacket measures: Chest 44 inchesBack from base of collar to bottom of coat 21 inchesAcross the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam 19 inchesSleeves from top shoulder seam to cuff bottom 25 inches The trousers measure: Waist 42 inchesInseam 30 inches, with 2 hemmed under.This came from the estate of a US Army Officer that served from WW2 through Vietnam.
