Genuine, authentic, original hand signed postcard photograph of Elite Major Walter Reder.

Reder was a highly decorated officer in the Elite Waffen Corps and held important commands during WW2. These command position included: Battle of Poland, Operation Barbarossa, Battle of Leningrad, Battle of Kharkiv, where his left arm was amputated because of battle wounds, Liquidation of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the Battle for Northern Italy.

His commands were in the Waffen SS Totenkopf Grenadier and Panzer Divisions, and other Elite forces. He was awarded the German Cross in Gold and the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross for bravery and exceptional military leadership.

The postcard size sepia colored photograph shows Reder in military uniform, and he has signed his name below the image in blue pencil. The reverse side gives a short history of Major Reder. The card is in excellent condition.
