Genuine, authentic, original hand signed photograph of Obergruppenfurhrer (3 Star General ) Karl-Maria Demelhuber. Demelhuber was a top General in the Elite Waffen SS, and served both in WW2 and WW1 in the Army. He was the famous commander of the SS Standarte Germania, SS Gebirgs Division Nord, XII SS Armeekorps and XIV SS Armeekorps. He also served as Elite Commander in many posts, including the Netherlands. He was only one of 22 Obergruppenfuhrer to serve in the Waffen SS. He was one of the few who also received the German Cross in Silver for his war efforts. The black and white postcard size photograph has been signed by Demelhuber in blue fountain pen ink. The reverse side has a few light pencil notes, otherwise blank. In excellent condition. I got this in trade at the Show of Shows in Louisville Ky. sometime ago. Because of the importance of the Elite troops and their command effectiveness, signed fotos of Generals are highly collectable. I ha ve been a member of the Manuscript Society since 1956 and am selling part of my collection. See my other Ebay offers.
