Genuine, authentic, original hand signed (twice) photograph of Waffen Elite Unterstrumfuhrer Erich Zepper. Zepper was a highly decorated German Elite Forces Commander during WW2. Zepper was best known for his combat actions in Operation Barbarossa, the Invasion of Russian and the Eastern Front with the Elite Waffen Viking Division, later he fought the Allies on the Western Front. Because of Zepper's personal extreme bravery and successful military leadership in combat, he was awarded the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. The sepia, black and white postcard size photograph shows Zepper in his Waffen Elite officers uniform wearing his Knights Cross award and he has signed his name on the lower part of the foto in black fountain pen ink, postwar. On the reverse side he has written his rank, name, and combat assignment in black ballpoint ink pen. The foto is in very good condition. Total of 2 signatures!!
