Old WW2 era Japanese bayonet in "as found" uncleaned condition. Nice early JAPANESE bayonet with a bright blade and sharp Arsenal and Inspectors markings. 15 5/8 inch blade has a fuller on each side - the arsenal stamp is on the tang - the front 8 inches have been sharpened. Nice wooden handle scales - the end of the pommel has a number and 3 inspector's markings stamped into it. The knife is tight. With it comes a blued scabbard - that does show some surface wear and surface rust. You can tell that it had a frog on there at one time - but it is not with it anymore. Plea se enlarge and study the pictures - they are the most important part of the description. Please ask questions before you bid - I will accept returns only, if the item is not as described in the listing.
