You are bidding on (ONE) Schwinn Cycle Truck Bike Badge. Buyer has a choice of brass or aluminum. These badges were a common site in the WW2 Aircraft Factories of Boeing, Douglas, Lockheed, Consolidated and others, as these unique bicycles were the "work horse" of bicycles; delivering blue prints, tooling and small parts from one part of the plant to another. The bicycle has a large back wheel and a small wheel in the front, and has a large basket above the front wheel. These unique bicycles have become one of the most collectible bicycles from the World War 2 era. The Bike Badge is the hardest item to find when restoring an old bike. Nostalgic Reflections of Veradale, Washington has been asked to make a few of these from time to time for restoration projects. We just made up 10 more of the brass and 10 of the aluminum to meet the demand for these. We have a few left that we are offering to you. These have been made just like the original. They are deep acid etched and color enamel back filled. Nostalgic Reflections makes custom "one off" parts for their customers who own and restore antique; cars, trucks, airplanes, motorcycles, bicycles & boats.
