For sale is a genuine World War 2 cloth flying helmet. Type 'G'. Size 2. Stitched on the outside right ear-piece is "DUN 160". The stitched badge on the inside (pictured) reads "Stores ref. No. 22C/1730. Helmet Flying. Type 'G'. Size 2. Helmets Ltd. Wheathampstead Herts. Eng." It looks and smells pretty old with wear and age-related marks. I would suggest it's missing a front face mask, due to the poppers and hook present. No reserve. ! **Please note I've been informed that this helmet is likely to be dated post war (cold war in age). Please bid accordingly.**
