*DESCRIPTION: This is an estate found vintage World War 2 German Military Carl Busse Mainz Firemen's Dress Bayonet, Scabbard and Leather Frog. The bayonet measures 14 1/2" long and the scabbard is 10 5/8" long. Each piece is in good used condition. The blade has some wear to original finish but no sharpening, rusting or corrosion. The bakelite grips have a small chip to each and the blade has the original leather washer intact(see pics). The blade is marked Carl Busse Mainz(see pic). The handle has some light wear to the original finish, no rusting or pitting. The scabbard has no dents but has some wear and rusting to the finish.
