Up for auction is an EXTREMELY RARE set of German Army World War II phone switchboard equipment including extra cables and an extension switchboard unit that makes this set a 20 line set. (Note the line numbers actually go up to 20.) You may never see another 20 line set. IT IS A HEAVY SET and expensive to ship. It is used in the condition photographed with the pieces that are photographed included. One switchboard is labeled MIX and GENEST. One switchboard has a German Army Waffenamt Code of WaA 373 with the Eagle and Swastika stamped in the back. The story was that this piece was captured when a German position was overrun in 1944. The elderly son of the original owner provided me with a detailed account. German World War II switchboards are Extremely Rare and and are almost never seen in the collectors market. A set that is dated and marked by the German ARMY with extra cables is extraordinary. International Shipping via Expedited Tracked Mail is $117.60 US dollars but I cannot ship to Germany or France due to restrictions on this type of item. Thanks for looking.
