is an original, matching, WW2 German K98 Mauser bayonet and it's scabbard in excellent condition. The bayonet is marked "44 cof" and is serial numbered "8268 n". The scabbard is marked the same as the bayonet. The blade spine is unmarked. The blade on this bayonet has not been sharpened and it retains near 100% of it's original finish. The pommel has most of it's original finish with a few spots of minor finish loss. The flash guard is excellent. The grips are in excellent condition with no cracks. The scabbard has no dings and an excellent, original finish. A nice, original K98 bayonet in superior condition.
