For auction is an O riginal WW2 German Long Dress "Bayonet" Dagger . It will complete your historic collection perfectly. Blade Marked with a Helmet? and a Sword? . If anyone has any info on this marking, please let me know. Blade is unsharpened . The original leather washer is present. Blade length is ~9 3/4". These are not bayonets in that they were not made to mount on a rifle despite the mounting slot and release mechanism. They were pretty much used only to impress the ladies. T are some scratches in the finish. The very tip is slightly buggered. Please see picture. T are dings and scratches on the pommel. Please see pictures. T is some plating loss on the handle metal, especially the crosspiece. T is a very slight wiggle to the blade.Scabbard The paint looks original. T is one small dent. T is some areas of paint loss. The bayonet does go in and out, but it is a tight fit.If you need any other pictures, please let me know. Please do not bid on this item if you cannot legally purchase and possess it. If you are outside the US, I have shipped these all over the world with no problems, but it is your responsibility to check your laws.
