This listing represents a very rare, WWII GI Officer's piece of vintage sweetheart jewelry. you have a WWII Home Front Sweetheart Bracelet featuring an Officer's Great Seal Eagle mounted on the front. The eagle is apparently mounted on a black surface (possibly bakelite) to accentuate the eagle. The bracelet has flowers on each link. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches and the clasp works well. The Eagle is painted in our patriotic colors. The eagle on black centerpiece measures .5 by .675 inches. It is very ornate and striking. The piece is not marked and the gold finish has worn off to reveal a silver underside. The bracelet cuts across several genres of collecting including WWII, the Army, Sweetheart and Vintage Jewelry. The winning bidder may opt for First Class Postage and Padded Bag with tracking slip in lieu of the usual Priority Mail shipping option. The vintage bracelet could be worn today in our Global War on terror by a wife or sweetheart on the Home Front.
