the wrapping on the samurai sword is tight the fish scale is cracked and missing in some spots it needs replacing, there is a red stain on the wrap and fish scale on one side. the blade is extremely sharp with some pitting, great temper line on both swords, the wire wrap for the officers sword is not tight and unraveled in some places, the scabbard is cracked for the samurai sword and the fittings were never on it when i got it a few years ago. the lacuer is pealing. the scabbard for the officers sword is in good shape considering its ageThe tang is full and signed, i did have a translation years ago and thought i saved it in my email i could not find it but it is authentic and very cool one of my favorite pieces in my poor man's collectionNo Reserve!!!!!
