WW2 Japanese Showa Gendaito Sword signed Kanekiyo

This is a original Japanesse Showa Gendaito signed Kanekiyo. It is in civilian mounts. It has never been in a colllection. I bought it years ago from a GI. It was in a sword bag. The blade is in perfect condition, no nicks or bends, bows, or flaws. It is in original polish with temper line in the point.The temper line is also clear and nice as seen in the pictures. Has maybe nothing scratches but is in all original polish,It is signed with the signature and stamp on the handle. It also has the Showa stamp also. It was made by Nagamura Kanekiyo. It is on page 233 of Swordsmiths of Japan. 1926 -1945 by Fuller and Gregory. It has a combination mon and Kiyo Kakihan according to the book. Also listed as 4th seat as (a good piece of work) page 221 in John Slough Modern Japanese Swordsmith 1868-1945. Again the blade has a beaitiful temper line It has the original handle but has shrunk so reglued it, It has matching Fuchi and Kashira and Koi-guchi and Kojiri on the Scabbard matching also. Also has original Habaki for the sword. It was missing the Tsuba and wrapping on the handle when I got it. T are no menukis t either. Should be mounted in a Shria-saya . Scabbard has some paint chips missing by the end cap. Also Kurikata is also missing otherwise the scabbard is in nice condition no cracks. Blade length is 26 inches long. It was obviously read more
