Up for auction we have a WW2 Japanese sword blade signed Mantetsu. The Mantetsu blades are well know for the high quality Manchurian steel that was used to produce these blades. This one is signed Mantetsu and dated spring 1944. The mounts this was in were badly damamge and the blade was fairly decent. There are no chips or dings to the straight blade, but this does need some polishing to remove some dark spots on the blade. This measures 35 inches overall and 27 1/2 inches from tip to end of habaki. If you need more information just ask. !
