THIS RARE ANTENNA IS A MANPACK RADIO TELESCOPING ANTENNA AND LOADING COIL FOR THE MARINE CORPS MAB RADIO SET AND THE DAV RADIO SET/ DIRECTION FINDER USED IN THE EARLY DAYS OF THE PACIFIC WAR. THE COMCO MANUFACTURED ANTENNA IS PART # CCI 66081 ON CHANNEL âeoeFâe, OR 3585 KHZ.

THE ANTENNA APPEARS UN-ISSUED BUT HAS SHELF WEAR. THE INSPECTION TAG WITH THE CHANNEL AND FREQUENCY IS ATTACHED AS SHOWN. THE ANTENNA HAS CONNECTIVITY FROM THE CONNECTION CABLE TO THE ANTENNA RODS, SO THE LOADING COIL IS GOOD SHOWING A FEW OHMS RESISTANCE.
