This is a "Normandy" Camo ww2 german helmet. This helmet has no dents of any kind. Looks like t is a luftwaffe decal under the paint but it is hard to tell. This helmet will also come with a handwritten letter form the soldier who brought this helmet home. The man was a PFC in the 82 division of the 101st Airborne. In the letter he says he was heading back to bastogne, in 1944, to get supplies. They came across a king tiger tank in an irrigation ditch on the side of the road. He went inside to look for any type of intelligence he could find. Inside he said t were 3 dead germans. He took some items off of them, one which was this helmet. He sent it back home and kept it put away just to take it out to show his friends. He said his wife did not like it. Helmet is missing just the chinstrap. Thanks for looking. This helmet was recently on ebay but i had to end auction due to an emergency. Shipping will be $20.00 in the USA only. On a further note. all the split pins on the helmet are tight and appear to never have been messed with. Liner is original to the helmet. I WILL ACCEPT PAYPAL. IF YOU USE PAYPAL ADD 4%.
