Weights 30 Lbs. Meassurement: Single Handle: 12" X 5". as mounted both 12" X 15", the base is 19" X 7". On the left handle t is moulded right below twisting diamond grip design handle these letters: HP and LP with a line that corresponds to a stationary line. On the other handle are these numbers 10, 0, 14, 44, 74.5 with the degree symbol (the only one that does not have the degree symbol is the zero after the 10 degree) About 6 1/2" from the top t is on this handle a screw cap cover and when taken off you can see in a square area w a groove line corresponds to the degree number above. I believe this groove causes the beveled metal piece that protudes out of the screw cap cover to make a kind of clicking sound when you turn the handle. Unfortunately is that at one time t was a description in a holder that sat between the two handles and was lost long ago. Also, on the side of the wood base are just some little bits of newspaper that at one time were part of a large newspaper article. Apparently this fell into the hands of some ignorant individual, for we will never know the history of this piece other than that it served with some ghost of the past. One thing that strikes you when you get close to it is the smell of old military grease. It is that smell the prementates military bases equipment and soilders clolthing that is aquired when working on military equipment. If you have ever been around it you know what I am talking about (smile), brings back good memories.
