Genuine WW2 RAF/RN life-line for waistcoats life saving. (Toggle rope).Part Number 22c/1046.Quantity 1 life line.This version has been soaked in a preservative similar to creosote. Dark brown in colour.Does not include the label shown in the photograph.These were packed in boxes of 10, so there are no individual wrapping materials or boxes.This item was a late addition to the RAF 1941 pattern Mae West life preserver.First added in December 1943. No markings due to the preservative solution.Fitted into the left inside pocket of the vest with the toggle end attached by a few weak stitches and left hanging from the hem of the waistcoat, so that it could be pulled away in an emergency.Postage within the UK : £3.35 (signed-for).Shipping (International) : £11.50 (Tracked & signed-for).Thanks for looking.
