This fascinating and rare Soviet Airborne WWII era Award Grouping is all for the same Paratrooper and consists of the Order of the Red Star, Order of the Patriotic War, Guards Badge, early and late Jump Qualification badges, For Bravery Medal, For Combat Merit, For the Defense of the Caucasus, For the Capture of Budapest, For the Capture of Vienna, Victory over Germany, For Impeccable Service, and four Anniversary Medals. Most have the named award documents and photos, and are in very good condition. It is rare to find such a grouping, and records are available to research this paratroopers WWII history. This archive was carefully kept by the soldier and remains as found - I assume the accompanying Riker cases are more recent. All the medals and pins are nicely fastened to the felt backing as shown The only tiny flaw in the generally wonderful condition is that there's a small bit of enamel chipped off the bottom read more
