WW2 U.S.Army issue spare parts bag for Phillips pack saddle. 7" x 10" drawstring mouthed bag. Full markings on bag are; U.S. / BAG, SPARE PARTS, 10 IN. / PHILLIPS PACK SADDLE. Marked inside the mouth of the bag; J.Q.M.D. / 1944. I would really like to elaborate on exactly what these spare parts are or are for but it would be rampant improvisation only. Ask one of your cavalry or muleteer buddies what the spare parts are for a Phillips Pack Saddle (10in.). And if they need a bag to keep them in, point them here. I can tell you that this bag is flawless mint and clean and un-issued. Please check photos for details. These photos are available in higher resolution if you need them.
