Occasionally i find helmets with marking and rank. Sometimes, they are hidden under 1-3 layers of paint. Here is one of them. under a black layer of paint, was painted Majors markings. Done nicely too. The shell is a WW2, U.S., front seam, swivel bale, made by McCord. Has the stainless steel rim. There are no stress cracks and the shell is straight. Lot # is 899E, dating it about, 5/ 1944. INTERNATIONAL BIDS WELCOME!
