For sale here is a great looking WW2 Soviet Russian Officer's Visor Hat. The hat is in excellent worn condition. The wool body of the hat is in great condition with no mothing, holes, nips, rips, or tears, but there is some very light soiling from wear. The piping on the hat is a red wool. The black wool band is also in excellent condition. The center front of the black band has a large early Soviet Star with Hammer & Sickle. Soviet brass buttons are in place on both sides of the hat to hold the black leather like chin cord in place. The black square bill of the hat is also in excellent condition and there is no cracks or crazing here. The interior of the hat has a grey coated fabric type sweat band which is in good worn condition with the grey coating wearing thin at the front of the hat. The brownish interior of the hat also show signs of wear and the previous owner has written his name in the front fabric of the hat. There are no maker marks or dates present. There is also no size marking present, but i would estimate this hat as a size 57. This is a great looking hat in amazing condition that will display well in your collection.
