Easily one of the rarest Sten items to collect. With over 4 million Stens (some dropped behind lines to aid the resistance) were produced, only 2% of the blocks were made in bronze. As expensive as the alloy was, it was found that casting an item took less time than machining a hardened steel item. This was extremely important as making the steel ones created a production bottleneck. Not good in a time of war. The solution was shortlived as additional tooling and labor came online. Once the crisis was over, British armorers were ordered to destroy and recover the material when found. Unfortunately not many survived. These were prized at the time as they were self lubricating and opperationally quieter than the alternative. This one is complete and in exceptional condition. 's your chance to own one today!
