WW2 U.S.N. Mark 2 Camillus Bowie Fighting Knife & Sheath This is a original Camillus Pinned Pummel M2 Fighting Knife and rare plastic Sheath . Leather washer original handle. The guard tight and has no wiggle. Guard is marked "Camillus, NY, U.S.N, MARK 2". Blade is sharp and was sharpened after factory. Blade length 6 7/8". Overall length in sheath 13 ¼". No pitting on the knife and I am sure it has not been refinished. Sheath looks to be in light used condition, grey in color, no cracks, no fraying, marked "U.S.N., M.K. 2" on one side and the other "NORD - 6581, B.M.Co. /8 VP", brass snaps work fine (marked "United Carr"), The little white you see on the sheath is old tape adhesive that is dried out, a small spot of paint loss. Used in World War 2 (WW2) by the United States Navy (USN), Marines (USMC), Sea Bees, and Carrier Pilots. In every theater, division and squad in WW2. This really would be good for reenacting or display.Ref M.H. Cole book "U.S. Military Knives Bayonets & Machetes" pg 117-120 cir 2002. We accept money orders, cashiers checks, PayPal, and personal checks after 10 day to clear. The shipping will be $5.00 in lower 48 US. Other destinations will be quoted. Thank you and good bidding!
