This is a sweetheart bracelet I believe, made by a G.I. for his wife/girlfriend. This guy really got around, mainly in Italy. It is dated 1944 and each link has the name of a city on both sides. The center panel has the date and Naples, and a heart with an arrow through it and says "DO NOT FORGET ME". Among other places he was in N. Africa, Rome, Cassino, Anzio, Greece, France and Germany. Some really heavy fighting took place in many of those areas. T are also desings carved in to the links that portray something from the area described such as the Camel in the Africa link. No idea of the guys name or unit, but still a neat piece. Very well done for a homemade piece. Guaranteed original but sold as is. No Reserve.
