This is a WW2 US Navy Mark 1 Plastic Training Bayonet and Scabbard, marked: " B. M. Co. vP. ", and " NORD-3066". The latch and black plastic grips are perfect. The composite Jet Black Bakelite blade is shinny bright, not broken, nicked nor scratched. The edge and pointed end still look factory original. A total blade length is 16 inches and overall length is 20 ½ inches. The plastic cross guard, with rivets, is undamaged also. The latch works perfect.

The scabbard is the USN Mk I . The maker mark is: B-N and 2 over 9 . The lightly Parkerized steel throat pieces show typical patina, but no damage. The plastic body is the original OD green finish, with little wear. On a scale of 1-10, I rate both pieces together as just short of perfect (9). You cannot find one better. The photos speak for themselves.
