you have a sterling-marked, WWII Navy Officer's ring. The ring is elaborated designed and features an Anchor with USN on the front flanked by an Eagles perched on a sword above a shield on one side and another perched on a sword over a banner and a smaller eagle with the words, duty, honor, trust. Sterling is stamped to the interior. The eagles, swords, and shields are exquisitely designed and very finely detailed. T is very little wear to the detail, and the ring is wonderfully preserved. The ring has some heft and is a good size. The ring measures larger than .75 inches in diameter. It approximates a size 9.5. I take a 10 and it is a bit of a tight fit. The ring comes from the estate of a Commander. A padded back with First Class Postage and tracking slip would be fine in lieu of the usual Priority Mail Shipping option. The ring is appropriate for wear today by a Navy Officer serving in the war on terror. The ring is just the personal item you need to complete your WWII Navy Officer's Grouping. This sterling marked, WWII US Navy Officer's Ring with embossed Anchor, Eagles and Shields would make a wonderful addition to a WWII USN Officer's collection. It is a fantastic piece for re-enactors, and it would look terrific in your display, museums, and for educational and theatrical presentations. It also would make a poignant gift to a veteran (or addition to a veteran's shadow box display) or family. Buyer in the States pays US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation/tracking slip, and I will combine postage for multiple purchases. W First Class Postage is offered, I insist on a padded bag and delivery tracking slip. Tracking is mandatory for all Pay Pal domestic transactions. For Pay Pal payments $250 and larger, a signature return receipt is mandatory. If outside the States this will change. I ship world wide for all countries recognized by Pay Pal. I will present shipping costs (Global Express and Airmail Parcel Post) for larger items through an invoice and contact email. Insurance and tracking on large size or large dollar items are mandatory. Smaller items can be shipped easily, safely and affordably in a Global Priority Flat Envelope for five dollars and fifty cents (most countries participate in Global Priority). Surface mail will not be an option. International Bidders must pay in US Dollars. First time international bidders (to my listings) must use Pay Pal. No cash for first time bidders. I will consider other methods of payment for repeat international bidders only.
