A fantastic lot of world war two lot that includes ribbons, documents certificates dog tags signed stuff by major general the adjutant general 1952 and secretary of the army, colonel 37th engineer regiment 1941 ,asst adj gen 1950 , PHOTOS , hat and uniform jacket.. WW2 canteen and belt alot of great items... 's the weird stuff a lucky wishbone that this person had with them probably since ww2 - and even more stranger a pair of ladies panties found in the uniform jacket front pocket ( i leave this to your imagination ! ) !!! 9.99 no reserve !!! please see photos - questions please ask ! will add more from this ww2 veteran collection to include a large panoramic photo !World War II brought another call to duty for the stalwart engineers. The 37 th Engineer Regiment was reactivated in January, 1941. On 18 March, 1943, after training in several locations in the United States, the regiment was reformed into the 1106 th Engineer Combat Group, the 209 th Engineer Battalion (CBT)(ABN), and the 37 th Engineer Battalion (CBT)(Amphibious). The 37 th Engineer Battalion was made part the 5 th Special Engineer Brigade for the invasion of France (Operation Overlord).
