A fantastic lot of world war two lot that includes ribbons, documents certificates dog tags signed stuff by major general the adjutant general 1952 and secretary of the army, colonel 37th engineer regiment 1941 ,asst adj gen 1950 , PHOTOS , hat and uniform jacket.. WW2 canteen and belt alot of great items... On 18 March, 1943, after training in several locations in the United States, the regiment was reformed into the 1106 th Engineer Combat Group, the 209 th Engineer Battalion (CBT)(ABN), and the 37 th Engineer Battalion (CBT)(Amphibious). The 37 th Engineer Battalion was made part the 5 th Special Engineer Brigade for the invasion of France (Operation Overlord).
