This is an original, WW2 USMC HBT 1941 pattern 3 pocket jacket in very good to excellent condition. Size is stamped 44 on the inside just below the collar. Black metal USMC buttons. The name 'G.P. Colvin' is barely visible stamped over the breast pocket. It is also marked inside the jacket on the lower back 'Colvin G. P. 1387771 UWMC'. It does not show on the outside. The only drawback is that it has been tailored to fit a normal sized person. That is to say if you are more than a few pounds overweight, you probably will have trouble buttoning the jacket. These are usually pretty baggy, but have seen post war era pictures with jackets bloused into the pants. This guy was probably pretty lean and wanted a trim fit. Not really noticeable until you put it on. Very professionally done. Still a great display, or wearer if you are normal weight. Email with questions. Buyer pays shipping. I will send invoice at end of auction. Paypal and money order ships right away. Personal check waits 10 days to clear. Thanks!!
